Preparation & Aftercare

Avoid Sun Exposure: Avoid sunbathing and self-tanning for two weeks before treatment.
Gentle Skincare: Avoid acid-based products like glycolic or salicylic acids for one week prior.
Medications: Inform your clinician of any recent changes in medication or health.
Cold Sores: If you have a history of cold sores, anti-viral medication may be recommended.

Gentle Skincare: Use a non-exfoliating cleanser and a hydrating moisturiser for 1-2 days after treatment. Avoid acid-based products for at least 7 days.
Sun Protection: Use SPF 50+ sunscreen daily and avoid direct sunlight for two weeks.
Avoid Heat Treatments: Avoid hot showers, saunas, steam rooms, and other heat treatments for 72 hours.
Hydration: Drink plenty of water to stay hydrated and support skin healing.
Avoid Makeup: Refrain from applying makeup for at least 12 hours post-treatment.
Skin Soothing: Apply aloe vera gel or calming creams as needed to soothe the skin.
